3. More Alolan Pokemon

You know what the wildest thing about Sun and Moon is, looking back on it? We were all genuinely excited when we saw our first Rattata. Think about that!

Seeing a new take on an old Pokemon instantly encouraged exploration in what very easily could have been a “stick with these six for the whole game” type of game. And as Alolan variants of evolved Pokemon like Marowak and Exeggutor were introduced, players were given incentive to do something they haven’t done since the first generation: Evolve as many Pokemon as possible to find what happens.

While it’s unrealistic to expect another 97 new Pokemon... the more the merrier.

Rumors suggest that there are going to be just a humble 20 new additions and the best way to maximize the value for gamers is by making them new forms, or new evolutions, of established Pokemon.
