1. The Price
When it comes to the price of the Nintendo Switch Pro there are plenty of assumptions to be made, and it all depends on how Nintendo itself sees the new and improved model.
If they approach the new release as an enhanced version that will be available alongside the current model, similar to the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, then a higher price tag would be a logical move. In an interview with Gamesindustry.biz, Serkan Toto, a Japan-based games consultant, predicted a $399 price for the console.
As the current model sells for $299/£279, this would help the Nintendo present the Pro as a huge improvement on the original, rather than a standard update.
However it's possible that the Nintendo Switch Pro could just replace the current model, just like how Xbox replaced the original Xbox One with the Xbox One S. If that's the case then it would be extremely unlikely that they would hike up the price, but Nintendo have never been very predictable in comparison to their competitors.
