2. A 'Handheld' With Vents?

So here's the conundrum Nintendo are going up against with the Switch: They need a system that provides a potentially processor-heavy 'home console experience', but with battery life that doesn't drain at the very mention of the word "Skyrim".

To remedy this, the Switch will be powered by NVIDIA's fancy new Tegra chipset; essentially the latest on the front lines of mobile gaming. The system still requires a vent to reduce heat buildup, but by using the Tegra, the assumption is that - for the first time ever - we'll have a major console's firmware built on the back of smartphone technology.

The end result is a system that supposedly 'sacrifices' more graphically intensive processes for longer play-time and better optimisation. Translation: You get to play console-level video games on the go, without sacrificing any of the important stuff.
