7. You Don't Have To Buy New Controllers
Yes, Nintendo did release their Pro Controller (mainly for games like Black Ops II and gamers who prefer 360-esque controllers), but for the most part, Wii U owners shouldn't have to shell out more money for brand new controllers. It's disappointing that the Wii U can only really handle one or two GamePads at a time, but since the system is oftentimes streaming the exact same content displayed on-screen to the controller, this sacrifice is completely understandable. That all being said, if you are the owner of an original Wii, if you want to play multiplayer in games like Mario U and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed, then you can! Most games that feature a multiplayer component of some sort allow the others to play with Wii Remotes and/or Nunchucks. Remember that old balance board you bought that's collecting dust in the basement? Nintendo is gonna use that again with Wii Fit U. Again, for owners of the original Wii, it's nice knowing that once you purchase your brand new system, you don't have to forego a game in favor of additional accessories just to play together.
