8. A Shadow On The Blackboard

When you find yourself falling through an air vent and landing in a quiet, well-lit classroom, you may be forgiven for thinking that suddenly the danger and terror are over. You'd be wrong, of course; did you learn nothing from the first game?

The relative comfort of the school's first room is pleasing at first, but signs that you're still under threat quickly start to appear. The most unnerving of these is a shadowy silhouette that passes quickly along the surface of the blackboard, making the thing itself look like a darkened window at first.

Realising it's only a blackboard is a relief at first; it's good to know that there isn't a hidden maniac dashing through the adjacent room. But when it becomes apparent that the reality of what you saw is even more supernatural, you may just start wishing the thing was a window after all.
