Lucio is one of the most interesting heroes in the game, having an incredible amount of versatility. He can ride walls, fire bursts of sounds, and even repel enemies away from him, potentially causing them to fall off cliffs. However, Lucio's biggest mechanic is his aura of music, which can either boost his allies' speed, or gradually heal them, also healing himself. He can also amp either one of his auras up, potentially moving even faster, or healing even more.

This same kind of aura applies to his Ultimate, Sound Barrier. A couple things are certainly different, however. First of all, his aura's range for this instance is much larger, reaching more allies. The effect is different than anything else he has. Sound Barrier gives those allies 750 temporary shields. While these deplete quickly, for an instant, some heroes can have their health nearly quintupled.
