9. Graphics Updates

With the new sequel comes new graphics updates, with an engine updated to deal with the larger amount of activity involved in large-scale PVE.

An updated HUD and UI - along with new graphics for features like skill customisation and hero levelling, have been implemented. Character designs have been updated, though not all heroes are shown to have them.

Along with these new designs come prototypes and tech demonstrations from the Blizzcon floor of dynamic weather effects for existing maps (as showcased by Stylosa), which may or may not be implemented in-game.

All of the above graphic changes plus ones players haven't yet seen seem to be flexing the new and improved engine the game is implementing, and its ability to handle an increase in activity and data.

Apart from that, the updated character designs and maps seem to be showing off a new era of Overwatch with battle-ready characters now in their world's present day, and signals Overwatch's storyline finally moving forward.
