Overwatch 2: 13 Things We Learned From Blizzconline
3. Enemy Units - Null Sector
A huge variety of existing and new Null Sector units were shown during the presentation. Intriguing upgrades were given to certain units such as Grunts, with the "Elite Grunts" having an extra layer of danger to them.
One of these Elite unites, when fully destroyed, drops a portion of their upper torso and one arm that crawls speedily toward the player like a horror movie zombie and explodes upon contact.
A slowly clomping "Breacher" shows off a fantastically designed bomb that opens up like a flower, from which the team presumably must protect an objective from. Another enemy is able to fly around and drop gas bombs with ever-expanding killing fields of gas.
A particularly unique and threatening omnic is the "Puller" (labeled a "Wraith" in previews), an elegant-looking, blindfolded omnic with three floating orb eyes, who pulls the player in and murders them with powerful, sharp-tipped "hair" appendages.
Add to these new units intriguing new reactions, such as chain hit reactions (where they bump into each other when hit a certain way), and PVE gameplay becomes ever more dynamic and interesting in the upcoming sequel.
