PES 2018 Demo: 7 Things We Learned

3. The Camp Nou Looks Sensational

EA's never-ending campaign for realism in FIFA means the Premier League, MLS and La Liga will get brand new presentation suites this year. PES 2018 can't match that, but then FIFA doesn't have the jaw-dropping wonder of the Camp Nou. Konami's title does, and those developers have clearly been hard at work creating the greatest digital representation of Barca's ground yet.

It's going to be disappointing to see those slick new overlays in FIFA 18 only to realise that you're not actually playing in one of the world's most famous arenas. PES holds an exclusive licence for the Camp Nou with Barcelona, so if you're a fan of the Catalan club then the prospect of playing matches in an authentic recreation of your home ground may be too tempting to pass up.

Everything looks spot on, from the 'don't look down' steepness of the upper tiers to the daunting shadows of the West Stand. Even the tunnel is perfectly captured, meaning you'll get chills as the players walk out to football heaven. This is what playing as Barca in any football game should feel like.
