Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale: 10 PS2 Characters That Should Be Included

9. Rau Utu (Mark Of Kri)

Another Sony exclusive that only spawned one sequel (Rise of the Kasai), Rau Utu from the Mark of Kri which was developed by SCE San Diego Studio would give All Stars a taste of the exotic. I would however forgive Sony for not including his in the roster seeing has Mark of Kri is already in the game in a small way. Baumusu's Axe will appear in the game as a special item.

As a character Rau Utu is an imposing fellow. Trained as a great swordsman and in the art of stealth, you could imagine him playing similar to the already announced Sly Cooper, just with more heavy handed attacks with swords, spears and axes. Then again, if we already have Sly that might make this character a bit defunct.

8. Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza)

While the Yakuza series might have failed to make much head way on these shores, remaining something of a niche title, it's real big in Japan. I'm talking really, really big. Its protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, the reformed mobster who now runs the Sunshine Orphanage would be an excellent addition to the All-Star cast. The Yakuza series is known for its brutal and completely over the top violence, but most of this is the result of hand to hand melee combat. There are very few guns in the Yakuza games, as far as I know. In an all out brawler, Kazumas outlandish and distinct fighting style would stand out among the masses, meaning we could dole out some harsh punishment, but do it with a smile on our faces.
