Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale: 10 PS2 Characters That Should Be Included

7. Dante (Devil May Cry)

Dante is the mercenary demon hunter from Capcoms Devil May Cry series. Sporting a red coat and a kick ass attitude, Dante could bring about a real sense of style to the proceedings. Not only that but what we have here is an extremely versatile character who would be capable of going short range with his large demon slaying sword, or he could hang back and rely on his duel pistols.

There's also a nice marketing opportunity for Capcom as well. To promote the series reboot they could give us the new, redesigned Dante, rather than the classic white haired look we're all used to. Would this move pay off? It's hard to tell. The internet was in uproar over the new Dante, and there could be some who refuse to acknowledge the new, gritty Dante. Then again, that was a while ago and they say time heals all wounds.

6. Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

Look at any article on the internet regarding Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and whenever the question of the character roster comes up, this guys name is sure to appear a couple of times. There's no denying the popularity of Square Enix's and Disney's Kingdom Hearts franchise. Lets face facts, they hit on a winning formula. Create a game that mashes together both Final Fantasy and Disney, two giants in their respective mediums. There was never any doubt over whether it would succeed.

And so Sora, with his chums Donald and Goofy has become quite the popular character. With his carefree attitude, willing to do best by his friends with his friendship is magic like attitude, there's a lot to like. Wielding the distinctive keyblade, which changes form and properties depending on the key chain, Sora would make another fine addition, being both a lovable character and frenetic fighter.
