Pokémon: 10 Weirdest Evolution Methods

3. Feebas To Milotic

Feebas and Milotic are to generation three what Magikarp and Gyarados are to generation one. The useless fish Pokémon that, if given enough time and effort, will evolve into a magnificent, majestic creature, worthy of inclusion in any trainer's party.

While it may have seemed a mammoth task to evolve Magikarp in Kanto all those years ago, it seems relatively simple compared to their generation three counterparts. All the trainer had to do was reach level 20 to evolve Magikarp into Gyarados, yet with Feebas, it is far more complicated.

Either Feebas has to level up with a maximum beauty condition, which in itself would be a struggle judging by the design of the Pokémon, or the trainer has to trade the Water type away while holding a Prism Scale. So unless you can find someone willing to trade your newly evolved Milotic straight back to you, you had better stock up on Pokéblocks and Poffins and make that ugly fish beautiful.
