Pokemon Sun And Moon: 10 Things Fans Demand

5. No Designs Based Just On Whatever Nintendo Have Lying Around The Office

Show me someone who says that Garbodor and Vanillite were anything other than the developing team being a few short of the target, panicking, and seeing the office bin overflowing with ice cream wrappers, and I will show you a liar.

It's understandable that Nintendo are running out of monster designs, but if that's the case then simply create less of them. Players would honestly rather have 20-30 brilliant new Pokemon to play with than 100 really uninspiring ones.

The Pokemon unveiled so far have shown room for optimism - Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio are arguably some of the best looking starters since Generation III, and the game's two mascots don't look quite as ridiculous as those that have adorned the box art previously - but there's still no word on precisely what volume fans can expect.

Whatever they do though, carrying on in the same vein of quality is considerably more important than merely creeping the Pokedex closer to the 1000 mark.
