7. Loch Ness Monster In The Central Lake

There’s a huge lake in the middle of map, something which as of yet we don’t know much about. All we can glean from the map is that it’s absolutely huge, rivalling the size of the major cities.

While the map likely isn’t exactly to scale, there’s no doubt this is going to be a huge feature, one which surely will be home to some new and exciting Pokémon. Considering the British theme of the region, this could mean there’ll be a Loch Ness Monster style creature.

There seems to be a lot of space around the lake, with no roads to speak of, so this could be a post game area with a Legendary or pseudo Legendary lurking in its waters. It might also mean that it’s an optional area, or has the Pokémon linked to a special event in the story, like the shiny Gyarados in Gold & Silver.

If it is a Loch Ness Monster creature, Water Dragon is a likely typing, ensuring it’ll be a popular pick with fans.

There’s some speculation that starter Sobble could be based on the Loch Ness Monster too, but then Water Dragon seems too overpowered unless the other two get Ice, Steel or Fairy.
