Pokémon Sword & Shield: 10 Gigantamax Secrets You TOTALLY Missed

Inteleon is based off the classic James Bond-style of spy. That much is known, but what about the Gigantamax form?

After all, it sits on top of a post made from its tail, using a sniper rifle of sorts. As real spies are secretive in nature, we have to turn to spy films. Did James Bond ever use a sniper rifle?

As it turns out, yes, in the 1987 film The Living Daylights. Timothy Dalton's Bond uses one to shoot a sniper's gun from across a plaza before a would-be assassin fires on a defecting KGB officer.

Inteleon's sniper rifle usage could also be a reference to the SAS, an elite unit of the British Army. Members of this organisation undertake various roles, such as counter-terrorism, covert reconnaissance and rescuing hostages. They employ various tactics in their operations, including the use of long-ranged firearms like a sniper rifle.

It makes sense, then, that a more advanced "form" of a spy would take on such methods of gaining the high ground.
