PS2 Mini: 20 Games It MUST Include

1. Shadow Of The Colossus

Team Ico’s 2005 masterpiece Shadow of the Colossus has gone down as perhaps one of the greatest video games of all time. It captivated audiences with gameplay which was quite literally gripping, and it managed to tell a near-wordless story that was far and away better than ninety-five percent of its competitors.

Re-released on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, Shadow of the Colossus absolutely has to be on the PlayStation 2 Classic should such a thing ever come into existence. If there is one game fans would most anticipate the inclusion of on a miniature PS2, it would undoubtedly be this. Quite seriously, if Shadow of the Colossus isn’t included, it would dramatically impact the system’s sales.

Ico, the team’s original project, was a bit too obscure, and their subsequent The Last Guardian, despite being well-received, languished in development hell far too long to ever truly meet expectations. In the minds of many, their second effort will simply never be bested, and Sony fans will continue to sing its praises for generations to come. Horseback riding and futile nihilism have never before been so successfully paired.
