6. MediEvil

MediEvil is one of the most under-appreciated PlayStation franchises, and considering how we haven't seen a peep of it in 13 years, it seems like the perfect time for Sir Daniel Fortesque's resurrection.

The game's cynical yet charming sense of humour isn't something that is commonly found this generation. Sir Dan's adventure was punctuated by biting sarcasm, whilst also retaining a level of hope and whimsy that few games can match, an aspect of MediEvil that would certainly be welcomed on the PS4.

It's not just the humour that makes MediEvil special, either. The focus on exploration, collection and combat makes the game fantastic fun, something that could be improved upon even more in a brand new entry into the series.

MediEvil offers a wealth of different things for players and it's a shame that the PS4 isn't capitalising on that.
