PS5: 10 Features It MUST Have
2. Bring Back Voting On PS Plus Games
Remember this?
Back in both 2015 and 2016, Sony actually let PS Plus users vote for which upcoming game they'd like as a monthly freebie.
It was a brilliant extension of the value proposition PS Plus offers, and for the most part, the "best" games won out. However, for one reason or another, you can count the amount of vote-able games on one hand, and Sony went gone back to doling out titles as a surprise each month.
Now, the reality of free monthly games boils down to which publishers are willing to offer them up. It's why you see games in specific franchises being included just as a sequel is coming out, or a particular title is available only for a remake to be announced the following month.
There's also the knock-on effect of some games that lack the popular vote never getting a look in, whereas sheer curiosity might will you to try something unexpected if it's right in front of you, and you have technically "paid for it".
Regardless, there's more to experiment with here, and all the feedback on the user side was immensely popular every time these votes happened.
More control over PS Plus' games, please.
