PS5: 10 Mind-Blowing Game Reveals That Would Win The Generation

Metal Gear Solid is likely the most popular Playstation game series to date. When we talk about games that define the generation, Metal Gear Solid is right at the very top of that list.

The first console version of the game released way back in 1998 on the PS1 and was so popular that it subsequently got released on Xbox, which I suppose means that it is no longer a Playstation exclusive (but we're still counting it).

I think it is safe to say that we all want to see Metal Gear Solid return in some capacity on the PS5 (preferably not in a similar fashion to MGS: Survive). This is one of those titles that now makes us sad when we hear the name as we know that it will never return to its former glory without Hideo Kojima at the helm.

We hope that Konami and Kojima can resolve their issues and get back together to make another MGS game; however, we respect Kojima's decision to leave Konami. There is a lesson here for Konami to learn; if you have a creative god in your employ, then treat them as such.
