PS5: 10 Ways Sony Can DESTROY Xbox Series X
4. Fix PS Now's Obvious Streaming Flaw
Despite its rocky launch, PS Now has turned into a wholly respectable service, offering an excellent selection of games for a rock-solid price of £8.99 a month.
The service gives you access to a range of excellent PS4 exclusives such as Spider-Man, while also providing a strong selection of older third-party offerings such as Doom.
The problem for Sony is that Xbox Game Pass is a better service overall.
While its first-party offerings cannot compete with Sony's catalogue of classics, Microsoft's backwards compatibility options are well ahead of Sony's. Whereas on PS Now players are required to stream PS3 games over their Internet, Xbox Game pass allows players to download the titles onto their Xbox, which is more accommodating to those with poor internet.
On a smaller note, Sony should look to get more definitive editions of games onto their platforms. Forcing people to buy the DLC for games like Batman: Arkham Origins separately in 2020 feels like a slap in the face to people who already own the game.
If Sony can iron out these flaws in PS Now, then they can negate one of the Series X's best-selling points for many and go well on their way to beating out Microsoft yet again.
