PS5: 7 Games We Need As Soon As Possible
4. Cyberpunk 2077
Another major title we'd love to play on the next generation of PlayStation is Cyberpunk 2077.
The new open-world title from Polish developers CD Projekt Red is the follow up to the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which means Cyberpunk has some big shoes to fill. The Polish studio plans on doing so by going first-person while expanding on the influence of choices that you'll make when playing.
Now that Cyberpunk has been delayed until the fall it’s so close to the release of next-gen that waiting for it to release on PS5 might be the better option. It saves to say the game will be looking a lot better on the next-gen consoles thanks to a better framerate and native 4K, but that's not all. Loading times on PS5 will also be reduced since PlayStation's next console uses an SSD.
We already know this will reduce loading times in a major way and since Cyberpunk 2077 is going big with a huge open-world, you may want to wait for the optimal experience. Then there's also the fact that a multiplayer component of the game is still in the works.
Adding that to the massive single-player would be another incentive for you to wait until the game releases on the PS5.
