PS5: 7 Games We Need As Soon As Possible
3. Rocket League
While having a huge AAA-game ready to go on new hardware is amazing, there is another ongoing game we'd like to see make it's way to the PS5 as soon as humanly possible. That ongoing game is Rocket League, the football game where you use battle-cars to score a goal.
After the initial release back in 2015, the game has continued to flourish thanks to a lively community and many seasonal events that entice players to stick around.
One of the most enjoyable multiplayer games of this generation would greatly improve on the PS5 as the lack of power on the PS4 results in some bad framerate drops when playing split-screen.
When playing with four people on one console the dipping framerate becomes a real issue as it gets way harder to hit the ball. With the increased power of the next PlayStation, this shouldn't be a problem any longer.
On top of that, Psyonix also learned from Fortnite by implementing their own version of a Battle Pass.
In Rocket League, this is called a Rocket Pass, which helps to keep fans playing on a weekly basis thanks to new challenges. As long as the rewards are worth chasing people keep playing, so there's no reason why the game shouldn't release on the next generation of consoles at launch or shortly thereafter.
