Rainbow Six Siege: 10 Glaring Problems Ubisoft Still Haven't Fixed
4. Custom Game Modes
Rainbow Six Siege is predominantly a competitive shooter at heart and makes no apologies for being focused on competitive play. It is still a video game though and that means first and foremost it should be fun. That isn’t to say that Siege’s core gameplay is not fun but sometimes players just want to kick back and enjoy some stress-free gaming with friends or like minded strangers. This is often made abundantly clear when Ubisoft launches one of their themed limited time game modes.
Outside of these events though Siege's game modes show very little variety. The game does feature a custom match mode but this only allows for the core Siege experience, with some minor tweaks to round time limits or the maps to be played. Allowing players to create their own custom game modes to play with their friends would be great for those players that just want to goof around and create the wackiest modes possible.
This could either be as simple as allowing multiple players to play as the same operator, allowing attacking operators to be available on defence, or even just allowing players to play the limited time game modes that Ubisoft has released any time that they want.
So come on Ubisoft - give the less competitive players a mode where they can just have fun and go crazy with custom rules.
