Rainbow Six: Siege - 10 Things It'll Do Better Than Call Of Duty

8. Co-Op Gameplay

A fan-favourite element if there ever was one, Rainbow's Co-Op is untouchable when it comes to providing a fun, realistic FPS experience, and Siege certainly won't be bucking this trend if Ubisoft have any common sense. Multiplayer has certainly been the main event of Siege's marketing so far, but that doesn't mean that Co-Op's been placed on the back burner by any means. Indeed, the developers over at Ubisoft would have to be quite literally mad to abandon modes like Terrorist Hunt in Rainbow's first true next gen release. In the previous titles Terrorist Hunt placed a set amount of players in an area with yep - you guessed it - terrorists to eliminate. The more players in the unit meant the greater the difficulty was ramped up, which meant that communication was vital in order to survive; especially when placed on Vegas's highest difficulty setting. The introduction of Co-Op missions (ignoring World at War, whose Co-Op element was atrocious bar Zombies) in Modern Warfare 2 was a missed opportunity by developers Infinity Ward. Mission difficulty often relied on sheer overwhelming numbers of enemies rather than tactical thought, and constant spawns really prevented players from navigating maps effectively as a team. Whilst its doubtful Treyarch will go to any great lengths to introduce a Co-Op portion into Black Ops III, any attempt to do so will ultimately be beaten by Rainbow's superior formula.
