Rainbow Six: Siege - 10 Things It'll Do Better Than Call Of Duty

7. A Fair And Balanced Multiplayer

"M16," "MP40," "Model 1887s;" these are just some of the words that would make any Call of Duty veteran scream with frustration - and for good cause. Since Infinity Ward's much lauded Modern Warfare, each successive entry in the Call of Duty franchise has had unbalanced multiplayer - often as a direct result of overpowered weapons, inappropriate perk setups, or kill streaks. No matter how much the series attempts to progress, COD's multiplayer is simply full of cheap ways to die. Rainbow on the other hand is anything but inappropriately balanced - at least when looking at the series' previous efforts. All armour and weapons set ups had their respective pros and cons, and each piece of kit had a purpose and a weakness that could be exploited by another. Quite simply all players are placed on a level playing field when they enter a Rainbow Six lobby - something that will never be the case with Call of Duty. Not only is Siege redefining and innovating Rainbow's unique brand of close quarters FPS combat - it's also looking to do so in a fair way. The odds aren't stacked in any team's favour, and just one slip up could cost either Rainbow or the hostage-takers the game. You simply can't find this level of balance in a COD title even if you tried.
