15. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider

For as much as 2013's rebooted Tomb Raider remains an essential action game, the new "survivalist Lara" is nowhere near as recognisable or talked about as her big bosom'd past self.

For good reason as far as the latter's concerned, but it does mean this "trilogy finale" has been met mostly with shrugs. Crystal Dynamics have stepped out the developing chair too, with Eidos coming on board to finish everything off in grand fashion.

So far the project is taking some bold steps in the right direction. Lara is far more confident than ever before; she's clearly been hitting the gym going off the size of her arms and her attitude is way more "I can get this done" than in the past two entries.

Set up to be the "connective tissue" between the battered, foot-finding Lara and the twin pistol-toting heroine we grew up with, this looks set to be another solid action game the majority could easily overlook.
