Ranking All 151 Original Pokémon From Worst To Best

4. Dragonite

Calling it now, Dragonite is *the* most under appreciated Pokémon in all of Generation 1. The original Dragon-type and, as far as I'm concerned, still the best. Nearly two decades after its initial introduction into the games it's still a common sight in battling due to its crazy 134 Attack stat and really solid defence.

It's also alleged that Dragonite's can circle the globe in 16 hours. If any of us were carrying that sort of junk in our trunk then we'd be lucky to circumnavigate the front room in that sort of time. I'm also a huge fan of it not evolving until Level 55, meaning that weekend trainers and other disgusting part-timers would never bother putting the effort to get one.

Plus, and not to bore you with too much game-geekery here, but it's one of only two Pokémon that learn Multiscale (which reduces all damage by half when at full HP) and that's easily one of the most useful abilities in the entire series. Big love Dragonite, you keep doing you.
