33. The Pain (MGS 3)

Bosses don't get a whole lot sillier than a dude who can control hornets, but Naked Snake's battle against The Pain is nevertheless a fun outing, and the first fight against a Cobra Unit member in MGS 3. The Pain's major attacks include firing swarms of hornets at you, shooting bees as bullets, having them drop grenades on your position and also using them as cover to protect from all but your most explosive weaponry, but as insane as all this sounds, he's actually not that difficult to beat at all. Much like The Fear, he's one of the least-interesting and most absurd of the Cobra Unit members, but at least it's something different from the norm and a fun blast-a-thon all the same.
