12. Liquid Snake - Car Chase (MGS)

After beating Liquid atop Metal Gear, Snake and Meryl attempt to escape the facility, cutting through some soldiers and getting into a jeep. After melting more soldiers with the jeep's mounted machine gun, Liquid comes back from the dead once again, telling Snake, "It's not over yet!", leading to one final, tense chase sequence, in which the player just needs to unload as many machine gun rounds into Liquid as possible for the next minute or so. The cars both crash at the end of the tunnel, triggering the game's ending sequence, where Liquid again tries to kill Snake, but the handy deus ex machina that is Foxdie shows up to save the day. Hooray! As an end to one of the series' most entertaining villains, it was suitably epic, and you've got to give Liquid a ton of credit for his resilience.
