Ranking Every James Bond Video Game Worst To Best
2. James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire (2001)
Though there are many who will argue that Nightfire perfected its predecessor's formula, there's just something about Agent Under Fire which gives it the edge - a splash of added nostalgia, perhaps.
Maybe it's that Agent Under Fire was the first multiplayer PlayStation Bond game actually worth a damn.
But beyond that, it touted an entertainingly cinematic, breezy campaign mode, complete with ludicrously enjoyable driving sections, though the multiplayer is what many will most fondly remember.
At the time, this truly felt like the PS2's answer to GoldenEye, finally giving those in the PlayStation ecosystem split-screen multiplayer thrills that actually ran properly.
Above all this, Agent Under Fire marked a turning of the tide for a series which was struggling to cement its identity post-GoldenEye. Splendid stuff.
