Ranking EVERY Main Resident Evil From Worst To Best
13. Resident Evil: Revelations 2
The second in a spin-off series that actually slots itself quite nicely in the main cannon, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a huge departure from the previously Nintendo DS exclusive subseries. This subseries was initially intended to be played in short bursts and on the move, but it wasn't long till Revelations found a home on home consoles.
Where Revelations 2 diverts from the first is that its as if developers must've come home from a Saw marathon and decided they wanted that in the next Resident Evil. So poor Claire Redfield is pulled back in for the third time, but by Alex Wesker herself seemingly out of nowhere along with Barry Burton's daughter, Moira. From here the pair finds themselves in a disused asylum full of nasties with Jigsaw-esk bracelets on.
Unlike 5 and 6, the companions are more than just a carbon copy of player one. Moria didn't have an easy upbringing, which results in her being against the use of guns and the young girl Barry stumbles upon, Natalia Korda, can't use them either, leading to new ways to play. Moira has her trusty flashlight and crowbar combo to help Claire dispatch enemies whilst Natalia will spot them through walls for Barry. This will come in very handy when facing those damn hideous Glasps as they are somehow invisible.
