Ranking Every Neversoft Tony Hawk Game From Worst To Best
1. Underground
The
first title to move away from the Pro Skater brand is largely
considered the best in the franchise. It was the first in the
series to offer a full storyline and provided us with one of the worst
antagonists in gaming history. The also introduced the ability to get off your board, a highly praised feature.
The player starts as an unknown skater alongside their best friend, Eric Sparrow. The two upstarts head to Florida, to participate in the Tampa AM competition. This is the first opportunity Sparrow has to double cross your character, ‘forgetting’ to add your name to the sign-up sheet.
Fast forward to Hawaii, where an opportunity arises to perform an insane sequence for the final scene in their video. However, when it comes to debuting the footage, Sparrow has edited himself into the footage and taken credit for your work.
Your character returns to New Jersey humbled by the experiences they’ve been through, while Sparrow has just become an even bigger d**k.
The game offers a much more satisfying ending upon a second playthrough, where the protagonist punches Eric in the face and takes the tape.
