Ranking EVERY PS5 Launch Game From Worst To Best
6. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
Yes Devil May Cry 5 has been out since March 2019, but this Special Edition has a handful of differentiating tricks up those devilish sleeves.
First off, Dante's brother Vergil is playable, much like he was in the Special Edition of DMC 3, and in DLC for the divisive DmC: Devil May Cry. While it's unclear if Vergil's side of the story will be explored given he's fundamentally tied to new character V, we do know this Special Edition will run at an eye-watering 120FPS, coming with an optional 20% faster Turbo mode, a "Legendary Dark Knight" mode with more enemies than ever before, and scores of graphical upgrades including ray tracing.
DMC 5 was already a stunning game, especially in motion. The idea of Capcom cranking their impressive RE Engine even further should make this the best spectacle fighter on PS5 for quite some time.
