Speaking of the Pro Skater series getting better with every installment, we now come to the crown jewel of the Tony Hawk franchise's early years: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4.

Of all the original Pro Skater games, Pro Skater 4 is by far the most complete. By this point, the gameplay had been tweaked to perfection. Plus, the level design was not only improved even further, but also gave players much bigger, more diverse areas to play around with than ever before. In addition, the game had yet another great soundtrack, an all-star cast of pro skaters to control, and a perfectly paced campaign that's just long enough to feel full and polished, but at no point grows stale or boring.

The original Pro Skater series is fun and special enough in its own right and Pro Skater 4 was the summit that everything prior was building up to.
