Ranking Every Tony Hawk Game From Worst To Best

1. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

Whereas Pro Skater 4 was the most complete game of the original Pro Skater quadrilogy, the most complete game of the entire Tony Hawk franchise is, without a single doubt, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.

The game offers an open-world story mode, which is not only a lot of chaotic fun, but also lets you move from stage to stage seamlessly with no loading screens. Plus, once you're done with that, you can take on classic mode, which is essentially a full Pro Skater game and a rather good one at that, packed with well-designed stages that are completely different from the already great ones seen in story mode.

American Wasteland is, essentially, two great Tony Hawk games in one perfect experience. The game also contains some all new mechanics, plenty of Easter eggs and unlockables, custom skate parks, as well as what is arguably the best soundtrack in a Tony Hawk game to date. In short, American Wasteland has every great thing that's come to be expected from the franchise and more.

It is the best game that has been released under the Tony Hawk banner, bar none.
