Ranking Every Upcoming Star Wars Project - By Hype

Project Luminous may perhaps be the single largest cross-platform project that has ever been developed in the Star Wars franchise. Five of the biggest authors to have worked on projects in the franchise were drafted in for a series of secret meetings at Skywalker Ranch in 2018 to flesh out the details of the upcoming initiative.

Since then, based on both speculation and a few teasing updates from those involved in the project, the growing consensus is that Project Luminous will focus on a period of time that as of yet has not been seen in the franchise. Approximately 400 years before the events of the Phantom Menace during the age of the Republic.

There is yet to be an official announcement confirming this to be true, but rumours and reports see the writers project focussing on exploring the Unknown Regions properly for the first time, as the Jedi search the galaxy for other races, planets, and a deeper understanding of the force.

Particular hype is focussing on the possibility of seeing a young, pre-master Yoda, become one of the main characters in this expansion of the universe, as well as flesh out exactly how the Sith managed to stay "extinct" to the Jedi's knowledge for a thousand years after Darth Bane implemented the rule of two.
