Ranking EVERY Wolfenstein Game From Worst To Best

5. Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Wolfenstein franchise
Bethesda

Wolfenstein has forever been the tale of one B.J. Blazkowicz fighting against the Nazi menace over and over again, and now with Youngblood, he has gone missing and it is up to a new generation to take on the Third Reich.

Daughters Jess and Soph have some big boots to fill, and for the most part they they hold their own, but unfortunately most of the sisters' characterisation comes in the form of cheap pops or the odd quip, as Youngblood is light on story throughout.

This is a live service shooter in the style of a Destiny, where a solo player goes out into the streets of Paris to run missions with an A.I companion, or they can be accompanied by another player.

As both come equipped with a power suit, this leads to feeling as if you're the Doom Slayer, but way less cool, because it takes hours of play to gain the sorts of abilities that let players swat bullet spongy enemies away.

Also, the checkpointing system is terrible, resetting you to a previous point with the ammunition you had when dying, not at the time of the save.

Bizarre... to say the least.

Still, this is certainly worth picking up, but only if you have a friend willing to go through the whole thing with.
