Ranking January & February 2015’s Video Games From Worst To Best
12. The Order: 1886
The title of this article did mention addressing the 'Worst' games of the last two months, and although The Order has been roundly trounced for being a Gears of War-does-King Arthur-style tale, it's far from the reprehensible, "OH GOD WHY"-connoting disasterpiece Polygon or Kotaku would have you believe. Instead it's one of those games you'll play to show your console off to some friends or rent just to see what all the fuss is about in a year or so's time, especially as it's had enough money thrown at it to support a small island when it comes to graphical prowess. There are meaty enough weapons and an incredibly cool premise that's just not capitalised on enough, but it's a fun way to spend an afternoon if you have the time. If that sounds a like a humdrum way of describing a game it's because that's about as excited as it's possible to get get for something whose colour palette is exclusively greys and browns, but all the same if you want to take a look at where all graphic-renders and film-based cutscenes are heading, it's right here.
