2. Kratos
The always-angry God has become a huge player for Sony since his debut on the PS2. The God of War series is one of Sonys most successful and popular, largely due to its stunning graphics, hack-and-slash gameplay, mystical time-period and bad-ass protagonist. Now Kratos might not be the most charismatic or interesting video game character but hes also far from the worst. At least he speaks. However, whether or not he is charming is obviously not a problem because he sells units and his look is incredibly marketable. With his ash-white skin, scars and red tattoos, bald head and goatee and, of course, huge dual-chain swords, Kratos is one hell of a cool looking and respected character. With several games under his belt, on PS2, PS3 and PSP the God of War has taken on and defeated just about every god imaginable. Kratos is easily one of the most recognisable game characters out there and he is definitely in Sonys top drawer. Coming in at #2 for the face of Playstation, not too shabby.
