2. A Link to Grand Theft Auto
Now, before you chew me out in the comments, hear me out. There is no official word on whether or not the GTA and Red Dead franchises are linked together, but they could well be. How cool would it be to explore early 1900's Los Santos, before the development into the 2013 rendition in GTA V? Imagine seeing all those classic locales 100 years before, or seeing a thriving ranch that becomes an abandoned shack in the GTA series. The possibilities here are great and there could be some sneaky Rockstar easter eggs thrown in for good measure. I'm not suggesting that we need to link the stories and characters all together, as that would be taking it a little too far, but the similar settings would be a nice touch. One cool idea would be in the proper integration of Crew mechanics as seen in Max Payne 3 and the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V: if a Crew does certain things in one game, it could affect their standing in the other. This kind of gameplay is something we really haven't seen in a notable way yet, and the foundations for this kind of implementation are already solidly set in GTA V and MP3.
