7. Immovable Horses
A rare but odd glitch can occur when a character attempts to ride an owned horse.
While the horse lets you get on, the horse is unable to move, turn its head, or be brushed and fed. This glitch mainly occurs with a player's own horse but can also be seen affecting posse and NPC horses as well.
Given that the horse is the primary way of traversing the huge open map, not having access to it can greatly disrupt a gameplay session. Imagine being caught in a gunfight or needing to drag a bounty back to jail only to find yourself stuck in place and unable to move. Thankfully, there are severely known fixes to this including respawning the horse, having a friend ride it, or fast travelling.
It should be noted that if this does happen it also becomes impossible to whistle for the horse as it will no longer follow you.
