Red Dead Redemption 2 has a fairly in-depth story mode when it comes to single player, one of the best in recent gaming history to be entirely honest. However, the story mode online doesn't feature quite as many missions but thankfully, they still give out hefty amounts of cash and XP upon completion.

In addition to the main story missions, you can also choose to do stranger missions, which will see you embark on a journey to destroy some supplies, murder a certain individual, or whatever else it is the stranger in question asks of you. These don't pay out quite as much, but it's still an effective way of adding more to your balance. Much like with GTA 5, you can also gain added bonuses if you complete certain criteria throughout the mission.

If you're lucky enough, you'll come across a mission entitled 'Kill Them, Each And Every One', which pays the player anywhere between $200-250 when you complete it for the first time. This particular mission does however come with a catch though, as it will break the continuity of your story. If you're not too fussed about that though, then this is a great mission to give you a good lump of cash.
