Again, although we can't guarantee that every lobby you hop into in Red Dead Online will be populated by amiable individuals with a cooperative spirit, but it's always worth a shot to see if anyone wants to chat and work together in the game's team-based playlists.
This'll no doubt already be the case if you've posse'd up, but if you're solo-queuing and find yourself having to capture a set amount of objectives, or just happen to be engaged in a good old fashioned team deathmatch, it's worth striking up a rapport with your temporary comrades. It'll help you figure out where enemies are, when to lend a helping hand to your teammates, and when to take certain objectives.
It's not essential by any means obviously, but if you're looking to get the best experience online and want to use every tool at your disposal to get the drop on the competition, then communication is a handy thing to learn.
