Red Dead Online: 7 Reasons You Should Give It Another Chance

One factor which may be off-putting to new RDO players is the idea of having to deal with a community similar to that of GTA Online. Whilst GTA is a superb game, these days it can be a real struggle to enjoy yourself in the free-roam mode due to the high quantity of military-grade flying cars, piloted by angry pre-teens who make more obscene mum references than Jules Gill.

Players in GTA Online have grown sick of being repeatedly killed by those at higher level with better gear. This has been addressed with the Parley and Feud systems in RDO. Now when a player kills your character, you can elect to ignore it, or pick one of these options. If you Parley, the offensive player and his online posse members cannot attack you for ten minutes, giving you time to escape. If you choose to Feud, you enter a best-of-three, one-on-one match to prove which of you is king.

This new system allows players to avoid being trolled without having to join a new server or enter passive mode. This makes the world more exciting as you can still be killed at any moment; just not 100 times in a row.
