Red Dead Online DLC - 9 Things Undead Nightmare Must Include
4. New Enemy Types
Standard brain-hungry zombies are all well and good, but the latest showcase of the wild west apocalypse would need to expand on its rather modest selection of enemy types to heighten its challenge and show some progression when it comes to adversaries that a Player will face.
Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption featured just 4 types of infected: standard undead who made up the bulk of the enemies, Bolters; a fast enemy who crawled on all fours, Bruisers; a tough son of a gun who could withstand more damage, and Retchers; acid-spitting enemies who acted very similar to the Spitter from Left 4 Dead 2.
As sequels generally do, its almost expected that the next iteration would add to the encounters a Player could have with enemies in the world. Having some kind of behemoth figure like the Tank in Left 4 Dead would be a huge inclusion, causing frantic panic amongst posses, let alone a single outlaw.
If not adding in different and unseen enemies, make the original enemies smarter. Have them co-ordinating attacks or riding undead horses, anything that seeks to challenge the Player more and make their conquest more satisfactory.
