Red Dead Rebellion: 10 Essential Features It Must Have
9. Deep Character Customisation
This feature is pretty obvious, but it should be mentioned. In Redemption's online, players were essentially locked to playing as one of the game's various characters, which often led to funny moments like a poker table full of John Marstons all spouting the same reactionary lines one after another. The next game should adopt and continue to refine Grand Theft Auto V's core character customization, allowing players to create their own character from top to bottom before entering online for the first time, with the option to continue customizing them over the course of their online experience. From growing out beards and hair based on time spent without shaving or getting a trim to going full-on hermit by applying and wearing the pelts they've skinned from various animals across the map, everyone should have the chance to define who they are online (and off) starting with the fundamental ability to shape and maintain what they look like.
