Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Characters We Need To See

Marston is one of Rockstar’s most genuine and sympathetic protagonists, and his tragic sacrifice for his family at the end of the original game was an utterly tear jerking moment (I cried. Not ashamed).

The chronology of Red Dead 2 allows for John to come back on to our screens and in to our hearts, and while we may have a new playable character in the form of Arthur Morgan, his connection with Dutch Van Der Linde and his gang is a perfect excuse for every gamer’s favourite cowboy to make an appearance as an NPC, even if it is just a cameo in one cutscene. The potential still exists for Red Dead 2 to utilise GTA V’s multiple character system, so we may even get to play as him yet.

Footage shown so far indicates Dutch is closely tied to new anti-hero Morgan, and the timing and situation are crying out for a younger Marston to show his face in Dutch’s posse.
