Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Gameplay Features We Need To See

6. Heists & Robberies

Red Dead Redemption gave a fair amount of functionality to the trains. Despite the ability to leap onto them from horses and ride them from end to end, players couldn't do the thing they wanted most - rob them.

This is where Red Dead Redemption 2 comes in. Heists and robberies should be introduced as missions for the gang to commit. Red Dead's game world already featured several banks, but they never had any functionality besides set dressing. For trains in particular, the player could jump on and rob individual members inside carriages, or go for a bigger target held in the train carriages with the help of friends.

Activities and missions like this would really emphasise the presence of gangs in Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as fleshing out the gameplay features. Players in Red Dead Online could even act as the law and attempt to bring in those who are trying to commit these crimes.
