2. Marston Is Who You'll Switch To For The Endgame

The most tantalising part of the leak literally states that upon some key story moment in the game - probably the killing of Morgan by Marston - you'll switch over to him for the game's substantial endgame.

"There is kind of a game plus like the last one had. You end up at Beecher's Hope and switch control to John Marston."

This would answer the single biggest complaint from the first Red Dead Redemption: That the game ended with you "stuck" as John Marston's son, Jack. People have wanted to have the full world of Red Dead open to John with a wealth of missions behind him, and by giving us a prime-of-life Marston to control it gets Rockstar back in the good books.

There's also the whole thematic tie of sons answering for their father's crimes that would be reprised here, as while Jack stepped in and continued where John left off in RDR1, a young John replacing Arthur Morgan (a more abusive foster father in many respects) would turn control over to the player, letting you decide what Marston's crimes are.

By doing this, it's YOU who provides the list of crimes that Marston then answers for at the close of the original Red Dead Redemption - which if true, would be genius.
