4. New Methods Of Transportation

In 2010's Red Dead Redemption, transportation options were limited. You could hitch a ride on the occasional train, but bar that, you either had to use a horse or a stagecoach to get from A to B.

Rockstar look to have addressed the dearth of options in this area however. The latest gameplay video not only saw Arthur travel using more traditional methods, but also via canoe and by Handcar, AKA the dinky two-person craft spotted moving along a railway midway through the video.

Being set a whole 14 years before Red Dead Redemption, players shouldn't expect any motorised craft to make a cameo. This is a more traditional west; one that is about to feel the creeping advance of industrialisation, but the west all the same.
